so here I am after hiding from my blog for 2 weeks...I have been avoiding changing my unhealthy habits...I am not feeling confident in my ability to change, but also know that if I don't change I will continue to lose my ability to do many of the things I love...already I feel much more stress when I snowboard, and I am worried about being too buoyant to dive. I want to be able to do those things with ease, so I want to make choices that support that desire. I am going to check out a new gym this week closer to work, and take one day at a time.

returned from a great romantic wkend in Tahoe last night to celebrate 8 yrs together
cooked all meals while away except one steak dinner last night,
which allowed for more healthy choices
Sun 2/11 snowboarded at Northstar, got really sore, not enough stamina
Mon 2/12 swam outside while looking at snow covered pines & lifted lt weights
Tues 2/13 went to the gym this am, 20 mins on bike at slow pace and stretching
hurting today: shoulder, neck and back due to SBoarding and simply being out of shape; trying to keep moving slowly through the pain and onto recovery
today ate well so far...brkfst oatmeal, lunch sandwich, afternoon snack banana
worried about dinner as no good food in the house and tired from trip
